Keep a Running Journal of Where You’ve Been

Events are a powerful feature in Dextr to keep track of the activities that you participate in and who you were with. When you create an event you can create a log of where you were, when it happened, who else attended, and who you met. All searchable for easy recall later.
Events don’t have to be formal activities like charity galas and conferences. They can be as simple as a birthday party or gathering of friends. The more events you track, the richer your activity history will become.
How to Create an Event
From the home screen you have two options:
- Tap the “Add Event” button in the Quick Actions on the home screen itself.
- Tap the calendar icon at the bottom and then the “+” icon in the upper right.

Once you are in the “Add Event” screen, enter as much, or as little, information you want to add. If the event already happened you can also add names of the people you met along with notes, or add “Other Attendees” directly from you contacts.
Events can also be created ahead of time, allowing you to add people you meet as the Event is taking place.
Finding Current, Past, and Future Events
Once an event is created you have a few options for finding them again.
First, current events will show up in your home screen for easy access. For past and future events, simply tap the Calendar icon at the bottom of the screen to see a running timeline of the events in your Dextr Calendar.
For the quickest way to find any event, Dextr’s powerful search capabilities make finding them quick and easy. Simply tap the search icon in the lower right and start typing the event name.
