The last set at Zilker does not have to be the last song of your night. Around Austin, the music keeps going in smaller rooms, late-night shows, and places where you can catch up with the friends you spent all day trying to find.
Find ACL 2026 after parties in Unplug, Dextr’s event-discovery section—free, with no Dextr Pro subscription required. Open the app, explore the options, and turn “What are we doing after?” into an actual plan.
This year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival takes place October 2–4 and October 9–11, 2026, at Zilker Park. In Unplug, the ACL Music Festival 2026 collection brings together festival sets, official nighttime shows, and other events around Austin, so you can plan the day and see where the evening might take you.
Find the ACL collection in Unplug
Open Dextr on your iPhone and find Unplug on Home. If you have placed Unplug in the bottom menu, open it there.
Use the location menu at the top to choose Austin. Under Collections, tap ACL Music Festival 2026—the featured card with the Austin skyline and festival crowd.
Choose the part of ACL you want to explore
Inside the collection, you will find four ways to browse:
- ACL Week Events: things happening around Austin during ACL week.
- ACL Weekend 1: festival performances for the first weekend.
- ACL Weekend 2: festival performances for the second weekend.
- Official ACL Nights: official shows at venues around the city.
For after-party planning, start with Official ACL Nights and ACL Week Events. The two weekend sections help you organize the festival sets you want to catch before heading out afterward.
Explore ACL Week Events
Open ACL Week Events to look beyond the festival grounds. The cards put the event name, location, date, and time together, with admission labels such as RSVP where available.
The First Thursday listing is one example of the neighborhood events you can browse here. Open a card for more details and check the organizer’s page before making plans.
Plan your festival weekend
Open ACL Weekend 1 or ACL Weekend 2 to browse that weekend’s festival performances. Each card shows the artist, stage, and set time, making it easier to decide which acts you want to build your day around.
Going the second weekend? Switch to ACL Weekend 2 for its listings. Knowing when a set ends gives you a starting point for dinner, meeting friends, and your next stop across town.
Find a show in Official ACL Nights
Choose Official ACL Nights to browse the official shows around Austin. The event cards show the artist, venue, date, and time, so you can spot a night that fits your plans.
The Brandon Flowers listing at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater shows how much you can see before opening an event. Check the date as well as the artist: the nighttime lineup can begin before the first festival day.
Narrow the choices with filters
Tap the sliders icon at the upper right of a collection to open Filters. Use the available access, category, and genre options to narrow your browsing—for example, Free w/RSVP, Music, or a genre you enjoy.
Tap the blue checkmark to apply your choices. Use Clear when you want to broaden the results again.
Browsing Unplug is free. Admission is set by each event’s organizer: some events need a paid ticket, and a free event may still require an RSVP. Use the event’s ticket or RSVP link to confirm availability and entry requirements.
Check the details and save your plan
Tap an event card to open its detail page. Here you can review the venue and street address, date, and time. For a ticketed show, use Get Tickets to visit the ticket page and confirm admission details.
Tap the calendar-plus button beside the event time to add the event to your Dextr Calendar. Saving the event keeps the plan handy; complete any required ticket purchase or RSVP through the organizer’s link.
Leave room between the festival and your next stop. A quick meal, a change of clothes, or time to meet your friends can make the whole evening feel less rushed.
Then send a specific invitation: “Want to meet at Stubb’s before the show?” The share button at the top of the event page lets you share the event. Our Sending Texts with Dextr guide also shows how to start a conversation from a contact’s profile or a Home Screen widget.
Remember the people, too
The best part of a night out is often someone you meet between the songs.
Use Events in Dextr to keep the people and the occasion connected. Add the contacts you met, record the context, and give yourself a useful starting point for the next conversation. If a friend made the introduction, you can also keep track of who introduced you.
You do not need to plan every minute. Find one show you are excited about, invite someone you want to spend time with, and leave a little room for the unexpected.
